Here is another painting by my daughter. Impressive since she was 14 when she painted it!

The Boardwalk
Victory walked along the boardwalk just as she had many times. It was just before sunset and the lights strung along the rails were already glowing. Those lights were part of what made this place feel magical to her. She loved the boardwalk most in summer at this time of day. The air was warm and perfect. As people strolled by her she observed them. Some laughed and some carried on conversations while others were alone and walked without a destination. Victory wondered what they were thinking. She slowed her pace so she might absorb it all before tomorrow forced today away.

The smell of rain..
I love the smell of rain
The fresh earthy scent reaches way back to a time when jumping in puddles brought joy and laughter.
I love the smell of rain.
